Who did it?

Pinkie Pie narrowed her eyes, she gave suspicious looks to her five friends, who were all sitting in a circle with her. The room was dark, save for a single candle in the center, flickering light over the nervous pony's faces. "So..." she said, closing her eyes, and dragging a hoof across the ground, tracing circles. "Who did it?" her gaze turned over to Fluttershy, sitting next to her, the yellow pony whimpered, gulping. She turned over to Applejack, the farmpony lowered her ears, but her expression remained firm. Her suspicious gaze turned to Rarity, who gasped and humphed, turning her head in denial. She narrowed her eyes, eying Rainbow Dash. Dash chewed on her lip, and looked away. "So, then it must have been..." There was a long pause, before she hopped up, pointing her hoof at a certain purple pony sitting next to her;

"Twilight Sparkle!"

All the ponies gasped, Rarity pretending to faint dramatically and Twilight shook her head, "What?! Of course it wasn't me Pinkie! I would never do that!" Pinkie narrowed her eyes "Are you suuuuure?"
"Yes!"

"Reaaaally?"

"Yes!"

"Are you really really really reaaaaaally super sure?!"

"Pinkie, I didn't do it!"

Pinkie sat back down, and put her chin on her hooves thoughtfully "Then.... there's only one pony who I know might do it!" She then pointed an accusing hoof at the cyan pegasus across from her

"Rainbow Dash!"

Once again, the whole room gasped.
Rainbow Dash jumped up, "What?! No!!"
"Ah, but yes!" Pinkie said quizzically, "Were you not at the scene when it happened?"

"But... I didn't...."

"Wait" Fluttershy whispered, "She didn't do it."
immediately Pinkie turned to Fluttershy, "How do you know? You would have had to have been there to know that!" Pinkie gasped, "So... it must have been YOU!"

Everyone gasped.

"What?!" Fluttershy squeeked, "You said Rainbow Didn't do it, and she was there, so that means you must have been there to know that, and If Rainbow didn't do it, it must have been you!" Pinkie said accusingly. Fluttershy begun to cry softly, "No, Pinkie! Please! I didn't do it!" She said, her voice barely above a whisper. Pinkie narrowed her eyes, Fluttershy wouldn't lie..... then it must have been..... "APPLEJACK!" Pinkie yelled suddenly, causing everypony to jump. "WHAT?!" The orange farmpony said, wide-eyed. "Nopony else saw you there, so you must have snuck in, done it, and left!!"
"Now, Pinkie!" Applejack said angrily "Ah may stubborn, but ah would NEVER do THAT an' then lie about it!" Pinkie narrowed her eyes, opened her mouth, with a raised hoof to say something, paused, and sighed. "Then that just leaves...." Everyone turned to a certain white unicorn, "RARITY!" They all said together. Rarity gasped, "What? Me?! Do such a MONSTROUS thing? I would never!"

"But nopony else did it!" Pinkie stated, "Well, neither did I!" Rarity declared.

Pinkie glared, "Fess up!"

"I did nothing! It must have been those ruffians, Applejack and Rainbow Dash!"

"Hey!" They two ponies cried out.

Pinkie stood up, trotting angrily up to Rarity and pressing her nose right up against Rarity's, "CONFESS!"

"I DID NOTHING!"

"WAIT!" Twilight sparkle cried out, she went over to Pinkie pie and using her magic, she pulled some dark crumbs out of her mane, gasping. "Everypony..... Pinkie did it!"

All the ponies gasped, Rarity pretending to faint dramatically. Pinkie looked shocked, and collapsed, tears in her eyes. "OKAY! I ADMIT IT! I TOOK THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR!"
